Experience required… We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior / Principal Civil/Structural Engineer with extensive Bridge design experience to join our growing team.
Essential:
Conducting structural assessments using Eurocodes and British Standards.
Managing project schedules and ensuring quality deliverables, including inspections and reports.
Review schemes and prepare conceptual design options
Supervision of design teams
Mentor junior structural engineers
Collaborating with clients and partners to develop buildable and maintainable solutions.
Experience in the detailed design of new highway structures as well as maintenance of existing assets2, predominantly in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
Prepare technical reports (e.g. feasibility/options reports, assessment reports and other technical reports)
Applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects.
Conducting site surveys and inspections.
Desirable:
Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE)
Proven experience in structural design using British Standards
Familiarity with current design practices and local/national guidance.
Proficiency in structural analysis software packages.
