The Sensory Service comprises of two enthusiastic and positive teams, supporting our children and young people across Wirral with vision and hearing impairments. We require a qualified Teacher of the Deaf or someone willing to undertake the 2 years mandatory training.
The successful candidate(s) can expect to be working with supportive colleagues in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and young people with varying levels of hearing impairment who we work with across the authority. The HI team within the service comprises of specialist teachers of the deaf and dedicated specialist support assistants, who report to the Service Manager.
Based at, but not part of, Clare Mount Specialist Sports College, Birket Ave, Wirral CH46 1RU; the team operates on a peripatetic basis.
The successful candidate(s) will be motivated and driven, bringing passion and experience to the team.
All salaries will range from M5 to UPS 3 with full SEN points for qualified status.
