About The Role
You will need to be an experienced Sales Engineer for this role as you will be responsible for driving technical strategy and leading a Pre-Sales team.
They are looking for someone passionate about data solutions and technical sales!
* Develop and execute a technical sales strategy aligned with the business and team objectives
* Lead, grow and mentor a high-performing Pre-Sales team.
* You will own the technical vision of the company, which will include guiding solution designs and customer engagement.
* Build strong and long-lasting relationships with enterprise customers and stakeholders.
* Attend and represent the company at key events.
What would success look like? 6 months: Successfully optimised Pre-Sales workflows and aligned the technical sales strategy. 12 months: Due to your leadership there has been measurable growth in user adoption, also increasing revenue. Long-term impact: Expansion of the Pre-Sales team and product enhancements.
What's Required?
* 8+ years in Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture or Technical Sales in a leadership position
* Strong expertise in real-time data or distributed systems e.g., Apache Flink, Kafka or Spark, etc
* Proven experience leading and scaling Pre-Sales teams
* A strategic thinker and strong communicator who has the interpersonal skills to match
* Experience managing stakeholders
