About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager for our West London site - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong understanding of human resources practices, reporting to the Operations Director. This is a brand new, stand-alone position for approximately 60 employees - a real opportunity for an ambitious HR Manager to make the role their own.
You’ll be responsible for setting up and ensuring the compliance of all policies and procedures while our management team is fully trained and supported in HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
● Build and drive the site HR people plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda.
● Develop and implement new HR policies and procedures and improve existing policies.
● Develop and implement a company-wide review system with role development profiles and plans.
● Support and advise managers on HR policies/procedures, performance management and disciplinary issues.
● Lead the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews.
● Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources requirements and provide HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees to ensure current knowledge of employee legislation.
● Manage and process HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts and amendments.
● Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams to ensure optimum working efficiency.
● Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and compliance for the Directors.
Requirements
● Qualifications: CIPD level 7
● Experience: Previous work in a manufacturing environment is vital, and you must demonstrate experience in a similar HR management role, with a proven track record in change management and the ability to drive HR transformation.
● Leadership Ambition: You desire to grow into a leadership role and build a team as the company grows.
● Organisation: you have strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
● Passion for Food: You are genuinely interested in organic, sustainable food and connecting people to recipes that encourage scratch cooking.
● Communication: you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire an audience.
Location: Greenford, Ealing, London (based on-site)
Hours: 8:30 am-5 pm
Salary: up to £50,000 DOE with potential bonus
