Background
We are retained by a leading housebuilder with a substantial presence in Cumbria as well as several other key markets across the North of England. Our client is known for delivering high-quality, value-for-money properties designed to make homeownership accessible.
The business is focussed on further growth and seeks to appoint an experienced Head of Sales/Sales Director to lead their sales team and function in the region.
Candidate Profile:
* Experienced Sales & Marketing professional with deep knowledge of the housebuilding/new homes sector and demonstrable track record of success in building sales performance
* Strong leadership and management qualities; Experience of coaching, developing, motivating and guiding a high performing sales team
* Operating at regional management level, able to work closely with and influence wider functions of the business
* Direct knowledge and experience of Cumbria and the NW market would be a distinct advantage
Location:
The role will be based in Penrith, Cumbria, requiring the candidate to be onsite/office based at least 4 days per week. It is key to this role that the successful candidate immerses themselves in the local market, builds relationships, and has a directly impact on the company’s progress and further success in the region.
