Job title: Business Development Manager - East London / Kent
Our client is a leading FM hard service provider in the public health and commercial office space market. They are looking for an experienced BDM to sell hard service maintenance contracts into the health sector through local authorities, government health departments, and private commercial office landlord agents.
Salary: 60,000 - 65,000 DOE + 10% bonus.
As the successful Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Driving growth of sales and winning new business with blue chip commercial clients, hospitals, universities, and offices.
* Ensuring client engagement and retention, building strong relationships with blue chip commercial clients to meet their needs.
* Implementing strategic development for continued growth and achieving set targets.
* Assisting the Tender & Bid Team in preparing successful submissions for hard facilities management services.
* Utilising a CRM to maintain a healthy list of prospect clients.
* Hunting down new business and converting leads into clients.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
* Strong prior experience selling hard facilities management services to blue chip and commercial clients.
* A solid understanding of CRM systems and their utilization.
* Experience with tender preparation and the submission process.
* A strong sales background.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* To be located within a commutable distance of East London/Kent.
* A full UK driving license as you will be covering London and the surrounding home counties.
* To work from 08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.

* Competitive base salary of 60,000 - 65,000.
