We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a happy young girl who lives with her loving family in Gateshead, she requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day.
She loves story time and exploring with her sensory lights and activities. She really enjoys arts, crafts, walks in the park, and attending hydrotherapy.
Throughout the day you will accompany her to her educational setting, supporting with her personal care, moving, and handling, and attending to her clinical care needs when required. You will engage with her learning, promote social interaction, and ensure her comfort throughout the day.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team
Essential Experience Required
1. 3 months previous care experience
2. Personal Care
3. Moving and Handling
4. Medication Administration
5. Epilepsy Management
6. PEG Feeding
Desirable Experience
7. Oxygen Management
8. Oral suctioning
We have the following shifts available;
9. Part Time Days
10. 8:00am - 8:00pm
11. Alternate weekend availability is needed for this position
Take a look at our payrates
Weekdays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £180 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £17.50 per hour (£210.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
