We are recruiting a Project Manager to work for an established regional civil engineering and ground works contractor.
Due to the on going relationship with their client this established sub contractor have been awarded road widening works to a dual carriageway and construction of a new carriageway to help support a new rapid transport system.
The project manager will be required to manage the programme, budget and client under an NEC contract. The role is suited to an experienced Project Manager or an Agent looking to step up with the support of the Contracts Director.
The work will be delivered by direct labour as well as mixture of specialist subcontractors.
Project Manager duties include:
* Develop and update design and construction programmes and oversee the ground works packge from inception to completion
* Ensure all project activities comply with the requirements of the NEC Contract.
* Work with the commercial teams to develop project budgets
* Coordinate with the Tier 1 Civils Contractor, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
* Tender and Appoint subcontractors developing scope and outlining HSE Requirement
* Review and Amend Project RAMs and SSoW s with respect to the site–specific conditions
