Across the legal Employment legal practice group our experts advise on the full range of employment services including but not limited to general employment matters, employment litigation, high court litigation, trade unions/collective, transactional support, reward, health & safety and senior executives’ work.
With teams in Belfast, Dublin and Hong Kong we are also able to advise on all aspects of employment law in these jurisdictions, alongside providing international employment support.
Responsibilities
The Senior Associate’s workload will be exclusively employment work focused on global mobility. Their work will involve assisting other Senior Associates, Managing Associates and Partners in supporting clients with the relocation of employees around the globe. As well as supporting others, the Senior Associate will run their own matters under supervision. They will be required to work with, and supervise, more junior associates and trainees / paralegals.
The role will develop in accordance with their own skills, aptitude, and preferences and according to the needs of clients.
The successful candidate should ideally have at least six to eight years’ post-qualification experience, preferably with the benefit of training and development in a highly ranked employment team. Candidates should also have experience of working in international employment law, preferably within the global mobility space.
The candidate must have comprehensive employment law knowledge, a strong analytical ability, and a clear communication style (both spoken and written). They must have a commercial approach to client service, enjoy and be comfortable doing business development and, above all, must be a team player.
