As the Consultant in Palliative Medicine, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert clinical care, supporting patients with complex palliative care needs, and contributing to service development. You will provide specialist palliative care input across all clinical services at the Hospice and lead and support a multidisciplinary team approach. Working alongside medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, you will offer expert advice and support to primary and secondary care colleagues in symptom management and end-of-life care. There will be opportunities to contribute to education and training for healthcare professionals, including medical students and trainees, and participate in clinical governance, service improvement initiatives, and strategic Hospice planning.
