What do we expect from you for our young people?
Working in a Hennessy Group Children’s Home means being a part of a young person’s day to day life. This means being there to support them through the highest highs and lowest lows. As a Registered Manager you will make sure that the home environment can support this by ensuring both your staff and the young people feel secure, safe and motivated. There will be challenges along the way but there will also be moments to celebrate and moments you will always remember!
Who are we and what do we do?
Our homes are all Good or Outstanding, and we are incredibly proud of this. We accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, autism and learning disabilities, and our aim is to create Outstanding outcomes for the young people in our care.
By managing one of our Good or Outstanding home’s and taking ownership of Ofsted requirements you enable our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well rounded adults – an incredibly rewarding role to have. You will actively be involved with new referrals – giving outstanding homes to the wonderful young people we support.

* Salary Base salary of £42,000 to £48,000

* Holiday: You’ll work hard with HLG, so you’ll be rewarded with 32 days holiday – you are also guaranteed your Birthday off each year and get an additional day to cover this. There will also be paid stand down days for those going above and beyond.

* Experience managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children’s home
* A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference
* Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
* A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months
