Position: Business Analyst
Suitable for: Business Analyst with approx. 3 years min commercial experience and a background in the insurance industry
Location: Homebased / office (WS15) 2-3 days a week in the office - potentially more over the first few months. (Applicant must be in a commutable distance to the Rugeley office.)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £45-55k

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is an experienced software professional able to confidently interpret and communicate customer requirements ensuring that our clients exceptional levels of software quality and deployments are met.
Experience/Attributes:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Business Analyst or similar
* Excellent research and analytical skills
* In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques
* The ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience of working with technical teams
* Understanding of the Agile methodology and experience of using JIRA/Trello is an advantage.
* An understanding and comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance market.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
The Role:
The Business Analyst will;
* Acting as a customer proxy for the development team during the development cycle of specific products and features
* Analysing the new requirements from our clients and translating into functional specifications for application developers
* Evolving user stories through development reviews
* Develop an extensive knowledge of the core Risk Solved products and applications
* Support the Product Manager in aligning core customer requirements with the published product roadmap:
* Developing mockups
* Creation of test plans to support user stories
* Defining functional and technical requirements
* Liaising with the project teams to produce estimates for any customisation requirements
* Facilitate client workshops, identifying and clarifying requirements
* Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Keeping the customer front and centre at all times.
* Working closely with Marketing and Operations to define and deliver go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits and target clients
* Contribute to marketing activity such as writing content for collateral, website, blog, social media
* Refining demo process flows (which vary per audience) to highlight the product as its best
