We have an opportunity for a Team Leader in our Residential Childcare service. This would suit a candidate with experience of junior leadership within residential care who is now looking for the next step. We are a specialist childcare provider that works with children who can display challenging behaviour and present with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD and autism. A therapeutic approach, and putting our children first, are integral to what we do. Salary Range: £31,345.60 - £34,320.00 Sleep ins available and paid in addition to salary. The successful candidate would be responsible for a team of support workers including their direct supervision, as well as the day-to day running of the home. You will also support, assist and deputise for the Registered Manager where necessary. The company is unable to sponsor employment of international workers in this role. Be part of and support the leaderships team where necessary. Work directly with the children being a good role model to the team. Take on such administrative duties as required by the homes manager. Essential requirements: At least two year's experience leadership role in a residential childcare environment. To hold a relevant Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma. UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Valid Right to Work in the UK. Candidates will need to be: Able to work under pressure and make decisions in stressful situations. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in written format. A committed team player. Mature, responsible and level-headed.
