This role is initially for a 7 month contract. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is an opportunity to join a team with the ability to positively impact the Company's performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the material control of post contract direct materials (to support new product introduction and manufacturing) and branded finished goods. Main Responsibilities Maintain an uncompromising accuracy of critical part master detail (lead times, contact info, MOQ) within the MRP system. Analyse, Interpret, and evaluate the MRP system/s, creating, releasing, and maintaining orders accordingly. Create associated sales order records where dual MRP systems are operational (IFS/Oracle for example.) Expedite open orders in a controlled manner to ensure manufacturing schedule can be achieved.Skills Required Experience in understanding technical content, drawings, specifications, and statements of work. Able to build and nurture relationships with suppliers/partners. Logical problem-solving skills. Able to make well-reasoned decisions whilst working at pace and with conflicting priorities.Benefits Include Competitive Salary 23-27K depending on experience.
