Description Grade UE05: £28,879 - £33,232 per annum CSG / Human Resources / HR Systems Full-time: 35 hours per week Open-ended role We are looking for a customer-focused HR Systems Assistant, who will help us to deliver second line HR system query management across the University of Edinburgh, providing expert service, consistent advice and the best experience for our staff when they need HR system support. The Opportunity : To join the team and gain experience within the ongoing transformation of HR within the University. Delivering a flexible and resilient process and technical support service by enhancing and developing proficiency within the HR service. You will support the ongoing development and maintenance of new systems and help establish new ways of working as we begin to embed automation within our end-to-end processes. You will deliver consistently excellent customer service experience, resolving process, user access and technical enquiries via service requests and triaging more complex enquiries to resolution, working with our People and Money Service team, escalating where appropriate. Your skills and attributes for success : Proficient experience in the use of Microsoft products including Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, Word and PowerPoint Experience of projects to implement or enhance business systems Excellent customer service skills with proven experience of delivering a professional, high quality, customer focused service, including the ability to explain technical issues The ability to organise time effectively to manage your own workload, prioritise to achieve deadlines, act on your own initiative to address issues, escalating where appropriate. Accuracy and attention to detail with experience of handling confidential information.
