Business Change Manager
Partnerships and Change
Swindon, Newport, or Billingham - hybrid working options
Band F: £50,001
UKSBS is a public sector shared service centre providing high quality HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement and IT services and expertise to our partners. We are proud of the part we play in enabling our partners to achieve the best outcomes for the British people and the UK economy.
We are a small friendly team that share a passion for business change. Our working environment is inclusive and supportive, which means that whilst we each have separate initiatives that we are working on, we are always there for each other to lend a hand or bounce ideas on approaches that we are looking to utilise. Our approach to leadership in our team is consultative, you won't be micromanaged here, you will be enabled to take responsibility for delivery, whilst being able to draw upon the knowledge and experience that exist within the senior leadership. We always welcome new ideas that can improve our practices.
We are looking for a Business Change Manager to join a team of three to play a crucial role in ensuring that our internal organisational changes are implemented smoothly and achieve their intended outcomes. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our strategic goals and the operational adjustments needed to realise those goals as we embark on a transformation journey.
You will be involved in planning and coordinating change initiatives, analysing the potential impacts on processes and people and fostering stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and buy-in. Partly you will focus on minimising disruption by identifying potential risks, addressing resistance and developing training or support programs to help employees adapt and ultimately work to embed new ways of working within the organisation, driving sustainable improvements and aligning teams with the broader vision.
To do this role well you will need:
1. A passion for change.
2. Change management qualification (APMG) or proven and considerable experience in the field.
3. Significant stakeholder influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively, flexibly, and to deliver through others.
4. Excellent communication abilities, combined with effective influencing, negotiating and representational skills.
5. Experience of supporting the development and implementation of changes to deliver strategic goals.
We are UKSBS. We are creating a place where people love to work, a culture where we lead, we change, we deliver and we empower our people to be curious, take action and add value.
It's an exciting time to join UKSBS as we transform our business to be the leading UK public sector business service provider. We aim to become a very different organisation over the next few years as we move to a modern multi-platform, digitally enabled organisation.
Our people are the heart of our success. We are always looking for talented individuals to join our team and play a part in that success that's why we invest and grow our workforce. In return for your talent and contributions, we offer flexible and family friendly working arrangements, a generous benefits package, an inclusive working environment that values your contribution, and opportunities to develop your skills and career with us.
We look forward to hearing from you.
