I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Test Completion and Analysis Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As a Test Completion and Analysis Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
1. Supporting the operation of test facilities across the Engineering Laboratories department.
2. Experience with testing components, mechanical systems & batteries or utilising hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or vibration test systems would be beneficial, as would experience of data analysis and interpretation, but a desire to learn is essential.
3. Involvement in running state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical test rigs with roles supporting single component testing, all the way to whole vehicle durability.
4. Supporting the lead engineer to ensure that physical testing is completed on time, to quality, with the necessary escalation and reporting responsibilities.
Double Day shift pattern - with potential for night shift when workload demand dictates and skillset enables. It's an exciting opportunity to be part of the team who run the facility, working in collaboration with our Technology Development team to support the installation and commissioning of new test rigs.
Qualifications / Skills Needed
1. Evidence based understanding of Design Verification and Testing Process.
2. An understanding of physical test laboratory operation, laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration related activity.
3. A knowledge of employing data acquisition and analysis techniques.
4. Background in structural/electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related electrical profession.
5. An independent individual with the ability to self-organise and prioritise workload.
6. A good communicator who can effectively communicate complex ideas.
