Mount St John (MSJ) is based in North Yorkshire and currently houses 100+ horses from newborn foals to successful ridden horses. As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
All general yard duties to include:
* Mucking out/sweeping
* Filling hay nets/water buckets
* Feeding
* Paddock clearing
* Working with the mares and foals
* Learning about AI and embryo transfer
* Helping with foaling the mare
* This is a non-ridden position

There is shared accommodation for over 18's available with this position. There is no livery for own horse available. If applying locally it is not accessible by public transport, so please make sure you can get yourself to and from the location daily before applying.
