Job overview
The post holder will be responsible for the administrative tasks within the local Multi Agency Safeguarding Hubs (MASH) procedures, supporting the Health Practitioners to meet the MASH statutory time frames.
The role will support a range of complex and sensitive administrative functions to ensure the effective and timely access to information for staff in the MASH and for the storage and sharing of information between MASH and other professionals.

Main duties of the job
1. Provide an effective administration support service to the Health Practitioners in the MASH.
2. Monitor incoming work on behalf of the Health Practitioners within MASH, ensuring work is received with all of the appropriate information and is effectively prioritised for the Practitioners.
3. Independently manage requests for information queries which do not require clinical input.
4. Gather information for MASH enquiries and at times for strategy discussions within own level of competency and provide this to the MASH Band 6 Nurses to complete their analysis and submit to the local authority MASH. This will be undertaken within the timescales directed by the processes within each MASH provision.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
1. Receive and manage the timely administration of referrals including:
1. Ensuring all referral information is available to clinician;
2. Finding and registering service users on SystmOne (S1);
3. Updating Groups and Relationships on S1;
4. Uploading documents to S1 following clinical review;
5. Supporting follow up calls and actions.
2. Manage tasks and maintain good housekeeping on the IT Safeguarding system.
3. Develop and implement a system to ensure that communications from named individuals, where a response is required, is monitored and responses followed up where necessary – including performance management information and planning documents.
4. Co-ordinate the administration of information following various multi-agency meetings and liaise with relevant health professionals.
5. Uploading the meeting notes to S1;
6. Tasking HCP clinicians to inform them;
7. Informing a GP practice or other relevant professionals involved with the child.
8. Provide a high quality and responsive secretarial service and administrative support as an Administrator working within Cambridgeshire Children and Young People’s Health Services.

Qualifications
* GCSE English and Maths (grade C) or equivalent
* Level 3 (e.g. NVQ Level 3) qualification in relevant area (e.g. business administration) or relevant experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service or Business Administration
