Are you an experienced and creative EYFS teacher with a passion for inspiring awe, wonder and curiosity in young learners? Do you have the skills and vision to bring our curriculum to life in ways that captivate and engage? Marshfield Primary School is looking for an outstanding, innovative and dynamic EYFS Reception Teacher to join our team.
Marshfield has undergone rapid improvement over recent years to become one of the country’s highest performing primary schools, ranking 22nd out of nearly 21000 schools in the 2019 KS2 SATS. In 2024 we were ranked the 4th best primary school in the North of England, and 81st nationally. This has led the school to be featured in the Sunday Times Parent Power lists and is one of the very small number of primary schools to be awarded World Class School Status by the World Class Schools Quality Mark.
Since 2020 Marshfield has been part of Carlton Academy Trust (CAT) which emerged from the outstanding success of Carlton Bolling, an inner-city Bradford secondary school. Today, we proudly oversee three secondary schools, three primary schools, and three special schools, collectively educating nearly 5000 students, and employing almost 1,000 members of staff. All CAT schools are rated either Outstanding or Good by Ofsted.
The school has just over 470 students and is situated in a vibrant community serving a diverse demographic of children close to the centre of Bradford. Marshfield utilises a bespoke curriculum designed to create an enquiry-based approach to learning, with inspiring and culturally relevant teaching sequences led by teachers who are passionate in providing an outstanding primary education.
Marshfield is a ‘Nurturing School’, being the first primary school within the city to achieve this national award, in recognition of our continued emphasis on supporting the well-being and mental health of all staff, students, and families.
We are looking for a Teacher who can:
* Bring our curriculum to life through vibrant and meaningful learning experiences. Create beautiful and engaging learning environments that inspire exploration and curiosity.
* Plan and deliver innovative and outstanding lessons that encourage children to achieve their full potential.
* Use creativity to design awe-inspiring activities that leave children excited about learning.
* Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
* Share a passion for early years education and contribute to a culture of high expectations.
