Class Teacher
Salary/Band:MPS - £30,000.00 - £41,333 Per Annum
Job Type:Part time, Fixed term until 31st August 2025
Hours:13 Hours per week, Thursday - Friday - 39 weeks per year Term Time Only
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated class teacher to join our KS1 team. Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is a welcoming, forward-thinking, inclusive school in which all thrive and strive to be the best that they can be, living out the Gospel values in their thoughts, words and actions. You will be part of highly-motivated team where high-quality CPD is at the heart of our teaching and learning offer. There will be opportunities for subject leadership as well as contributing to whole school development. You will be responsible for:
• Teaching a class, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of pupils, including for children with SEND.
• Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
• Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
