The Fuel Services Operative will work within our Operations team responsible for the delivery of our fuel services contracts across our commercial customer base, which includes fuel sampling, fuel storage compliance audits, fuel polishing, and more.
This role requires an ambitious and driven individual who is technically minded and wants to develop within the fuel operations and fuel engineering field. This role will require a significant amount of driving, including inside London and other major city centres, as this role will cover nationwide sites. So the successful candidate will need to be a confident driver and someone who enjoys being behind the wheel.
Full training is provided from in-house, online courses, and field-based practical training, so previous experience is not a must; however, having a technical mind and a hands-on approach will be beneficial and desirable.
Headline responsibilities:
1. Support Energy & Power sector specialists in promoting and delivering our fuel services offer to key critical power segment customers.
2. Represent WP Group operationally in the field in our largest critical infrastructure customers, carrying out key tasks and works to fulfil our major contracts.
3. Carry out key admin responsibilities relating to our fuel services activity such as sampling delivery process, works reporting, and record maintenance.
4. Coordinate with and oversee 3rd party partners on site to deliver fuel services works that are outside of our own direct capability.
5. Work alongside our depot infrastructure support role to provide additional resource for in-house services tasks when required.

Skills required:
