The Cover Supervisor's main purpose is to support the college and students in providing cover for lessons in the event of tutor absence. The lessons will be prepared, with guidance given. The post holder will need to be confident to deliver the material provided to different cohorts of students whilst complying with the College’s strategic priorities and departmental objectives.
Experience of working in a further education environment or related context is desirable. You will have excellent presentation and communication skills, a commitment to achieve excellence, and the ability to demonstrate self-motivation and to motivate others. A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience and a teaching qualification would be desirable.
