Area to be covered: South East
Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 + £5,000-£10,000 Bonus

The role will involve:
1. Field sales position selling high end manufactured range of multi-point locking systems for windows and doors.
2. Managing relationships with window and door fabricators of composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, and timber fire doors.
3. Responsible for £1.5m-£2m revenue and managing the distribution network efficiently.
4. Recruiting a minimum of three new commercial accounts per annum, each contributing a minimum of £50,000 at an acceptable margin.
5. Three to four days on the road, remainder of time home based/admin.
6. Targeted sectors include composite and timber fire doors, retail and trade sectors, new build, and alluvium fabricators.
7. Winning specifications with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors.
8. This area has been created through growth.
The ideal applicant will have:
1. Window and door hardware field sales experience from within the construction industry.
2. Experience selling to window and door fabricators of composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, or timber fire doors.
3. Ability to hit the ground running.
4. New business hunter mentality.
5. Doors/doorsets or door hardware field sales experience.
6. Consideration for fire door specification field sales with architects and architectural ironmongers.
7. GAI or FRID (fire door inspector qualification) may be advantageous.
8. Comfort with technical regulations/legislation around internal timber fire door locking systems.
9. Consultative approach.
10. Network of contacts within composite or timber door fabrications is not essential.
11. Solution sales person, not someone that sells on price.
12. Autonomous in nature.
13. Comfortable with monthly reporting and diary planning.
14. Self-motivated, communicative, relationship builder with strong negotiation skills.
