There’s a permanent opportunity for a Technical Manager to join our team within Dalkia UK.
This role will require travel to sites across the UK.
As a Technical Manager at Dalkia, you will be responsible for the analysis and overseeing the of maintenance of various disciplines including HV, LV, Gas, F Gas and/or pressure systems as appropriate, within our clients’ facilities.
The Role
* Reporting to the Technical Director, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and Dalkia Safety Rules while contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our operations.
* You will provide technical guidance, drive and motivation of the contract teams, liaise professionally with various stakeholders and clients.
* Ensure a positive Health and Safety environment and safe systems of work are maintained across all contracts via site visits and auditing.
* You will also be expected to provide expert knowledge across the business including attending site surveys and due diligence in supporting bids or the QSHE team.
* Reviewing Dalkia Safety Rules, and Procedures, site SOPs, EOPs and assisting in creating site Scenario Training exercises.
* Become an AE to assess engineers for suitability for Technical Appointments
* Lead and provide guidance on technical facilities maintenance across all contracts.
* Audit contracts against KPI’s / SLA’s including statutory compliance, financial and health and safety targets.
* Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with site teams and the client.
* Drive and embed an outstanding compliance and health and safety culture.
* Identify and implement opportunities to deliver contract growth through innovation and different ways of working though gains in efficiencies.
* Provide an innovative approach to efficiency measures / improvements.
Hours of Work
* Monday to Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm

Qualifications and Experience Required
* Previous Authorising Engineer or Senior Appointed Person
* Degree qualified desirable or 20 years relative experience
* Demonstrates a high level of technical knowledge of building services.
* Good understanding of health and safety management
* High level understanding of statutory compliance
* Understanding of financial and commercial contracts
* Lead and provide guidance on technical facilities maintenance across all contracts.
