Freight Key Account Executive (12-month contract) - Remote - Up to £33,000
To assist the Key Account Manager with the commercial relationship with an existing large blue-chip client. Proactively maintaining a consistent high level of service delivery. Maintaining the revenue and gross profit, ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets, exhausting all additional revenue streams opportunities. Assist the Key Account Manager with implementation of any new services. Working with the client to ensure the service requirements are understood and implemented in line with client expectations.
Job Type: 12-month contract
Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30am to 17:30pm
Salary: Up to £33,000
Job Duties:
1. Daily planning of customer's PO's, consol and full vendor loads stock planning
2. Trailer planning and forecasting in order to ensure economic benefit
3. Daily checks for new bookings on in-house IT system
4. Communication with planning department, head office and overseas partners
5. High volumes of data entry on in-house IT systems & Excel
6. Completing all operational activities accurately in line with the agreed SLAs
7. Supporting partners with bookings and operational queries
8. Maintain excellent customer and inter-departmental relationships at all times
9. Providing ad-hoc reporting to the customer
10. Provide general support to other teams in the business as required
11. Other ad-hoc administrative duties
Skills Required:
1. Logistics/Supply Chain/Transport Management degree or relevant experience in the field
2. Strong IT skills including MS Office suite
3. Right to work in the UK (Candidate must be UK-based)
