Our transport control centre in Beeston, Nottingham, keeps the Wincanton Group Transport network moving! An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Administrative Co-ordinator at our multiuser Beeston site, working as part of a team you will be responsible for the planning and coordinating our subcontracted hauliers to meet the demands of the business.
You will be responsible for working alongside the planning team to book and plan subcontracted deliveries, working as the first chain of the operation in receiving and allocating jobs ensuring they're paid correctly.
40 hours per week Monday- Friday, working between the hours of f7am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities
System Administration Tasks
Accountable for the returns process
Recording and notifying demurrage occurrences
Managing an email inbox
Debriefing- Managing deadlines.
Supporting supplier invoice team
Contact with suppliers via telephone and email.
Support booking in.
Managing internal processes and reporting processes.
What will you bring?
A high degree of computer literacy and knowledge of excel is essential.
Excellent Organisational Skills
Ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Must be punctual, reliable and diligent.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication- both verbal and written
Great attention to detail
Able to follow, review and improve processes
Dynamic individual who is willing to learn
Confident and Empathetic person willing to adapt.
