Financial Accountant, Facility Management, UK wide (remote role with national travel), Up to £45,000

As part of a dynamic finance function, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, supporting both statutory compliance and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
* Handle daily accounting tasks across UK-based group entities, including:
o Balance sheet reconciliations
o Journal entries and reclassifications
o Accruals, prepayments, and corrections
o Month-end and year-end close processes
o Managing accounts payable and receivable
o Maintaining fixed asset registers
o VAT reconciliations
o Bank reconciliations for all company accounts
o Supporting financial analysis and reporting
* Coordinate and review group payroll across all UK entities
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
* Support the streamlining of accounting processes across newly integrated business units
* Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution
* Provide documentation for external audits
* Contribute to ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by senior finance leadership
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience with statutory financial reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Strong ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
* High attention to detail and analytical mindset
* Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders
* Positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to travel nationally as needed
Desirable:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or part-qualified)
* Experience using SAGE Intacct
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Prior experience in the facility management sector
