Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate ITALIAN LINE COOK to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, demonstrating a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
1. Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
2. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
3. Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including inventory control and stock rotation.
4. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
6. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
7. Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
8. Respond promptly to any kitchen emergencies or issues that may arise during service.
