About This Role As a Management Accountant, you'll work closely with the Head of Finance, taking ownership of key areas like fixed assets, month-end processes, and payroll. You'll also support process improvements and get involved in wider business activities, from HR administration to improving operational efficiencies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a smaller team, and is eager to contribute beyond traditional finance duties. Key Responsibilities Manage accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers, including annual audits. Oversee accounts for the business's international division and customer deposits. Update and share key financial reports with senior management. Reconcile service and software contracts and support annual pricing updates. Raise stage invoices and follow up on payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Provide cover for team members during holidays and assist with audits. Prepare delivery paperwork and commercial invoices. Assist with monthly payroll processing and employee setup on systems. Support HR-related queries and administration, working closely with external partners. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist with finance team queries. What We're Looking For Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) with hands-on experience in finance. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. A proactive and confident personality who thrives in an SME environment. Willingness to get involved in non-finance tasks, from arranging events to process improvements. Bonus points for experience in manufacturing or small team setups, but not essential. What's In It For You?
