EMEA site selection Job ID 187906 Posted 15-Oct-2024 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Data Centers Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland DATA CENTRES / LONDON Associate Director/Director Role Purpose The role is client facing and transaction based and will involve leading the sourcing and acquisition of data centre real estate on behalf of a wide range of global corporate, technology and telecommunications clients across the EMEA region. The data centre sector itself is one of the fastest growing real estate sectors globally, which is exciting, dynamic and fast-moving and provides team members with opportunities to develop new business skills in addition to those of the traditional real estate industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual with self-initiative. The successful candidate will be commercially minded with a strong track record in completing occupier agency transactions and an ability to work effectively as part of a team and alongside large corporate clients focused on closing high profile and high value real estate transactions. Good communication and relationship building skills are essential as the role will involve close liaison with colleagues across the CBRE office network around the world with opportunities to travel within EMEA. The role is particularly suited to an individual who is looking to utilise their existing strong transactional experience through working with a range of occupiers across multiple geographies. This role also requires someone who understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion with important company information. This role works as part of a close-knit and market leading data centre advisory team based in London which is the largest specialist team in its field based in one location and further benefits from the wider CBRE global network. Key Responsibilities - Working with global occupier clients to develop and advise on their data centre requirements and strategy across EMEA. - Sourcing, negotiation and execution of data centre transactions across EMEA (acquisitions, disposals, expansions and renewals). - Delivering presentations to existing and target clients on data centre market dynamics across EMEA. - Developing a strong profile and network within the data centre market to assist with market knowledge and business development opportunities. - As experience develops, public speaking opportunities will also be available at European data centre conferences.
