POS Planner
We have an exciting opportunity for a POS Planner to begin their story with Story Plant Ltd. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being hardworking, grounded, and proud of the work they do.
As POS Planner, you will be the key point of contact for the Client’s Planning and Construction teams, ensuring the correct Plant, Resources, and Plans are identified and developed to assure successful delivery outcomes, constructively challenging and supporting as required.
You will ensure Lift Planning and OTP activities are completed, compliant, approved, and briefed to the delivery teams, as well as ensure the most appropriate type and quantity of Plant, equipment, and people are ordered and utilized to deliver the project in the most efficient manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Extensive experience of the rail plant industry, machines, and attachments
2. A track record of managing client relationships
3. Plant site methodology skills and experience
4. PTS Holder
5. POS, CC and Lift Planner certified
6. Analytical and pro-active problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
8. Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
9. Full UK driving licence
