Job Summary As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in commercial settings. You’ll perform diagnostic testing, manage emergency repairs, and ensure that systems are fully compliant with safety regulations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair commercial gas systems, appliances, and boilers
* Conduct planned maintenance and safety checks to ensure optimal performance
* Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and maintain accurate records of work completed
* Ensure all work meets industry standards and adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Respond promptly to emergency repair calls in line with service agreements
* Work closely with clients to assess needs and provide exceptional customer service
* Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and best practices
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
* ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1)
* Sound knowledge of commercial gas systems and appliances
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with building management systems and controls
