Chef de Partie We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of a leading academic institution for a temporary position this summer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your speciality. Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering consistently high-quality food. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hygiene regulations. Manage and train any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you. Help with the management of health and safety and food hygiene practices. Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie. Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of best cooking practices. Culinary school diploma preferred.
