We are excited to announce a full-time position for the role of Patient Pathway Coordinator within our esteemed Urology service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to gain valuable experience in the Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) administration role or those eager to explore and contribute to a new and dynamic specialty.
As a Patient Pathway Coordinator, you will be integral in ensuring the seamless management of patient pathways, contributing to the efficient running of the Urology service. You will be joining a highly motivated and skilled team, committed to upholding the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.

Knowledge Requirements
* Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy.
* Knowledge of NHS or service provider in general.
* Thorough knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes.
* Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets i.e. PAS, Excel or similar applications.
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems.
* Confidentiality and Data Protection.
* Health and Safety.
* Equality and diversity.
* Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures.
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems – As applicable to specialty.
Qualifications/Academic/Craft/Professional
* Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above.
* RSA II (or equivalent).
* ECDL.
* Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Administrator & Receptionist diploma (AMSPAR).
* NVQ in Customer Care.
* Institute of Health Records & Information Management Diploma (IHRIM).
* European Computer Driving Licence.
* Shorthand speeds of 80wpm.
Further Training
* On the job training.
* Supervisory training.
* Experience of managing health & safety issues.
