Job Duties:
1. Design and develop digital processes for materials used in aerospace and aviation.
2. Implement data-driven solutions to optimise material performance.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital processes into material testing and production.
4. Perform analysis and testing on materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to digital processes in materials.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in digital process engineering within the aerospace industry.
3. Strong understanding of material properties and behaviour.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
1. Previous experience in digital process engineering within the aerospace industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Knowledge of material properties and behaviour.
2. Experience with data-driven solutions for material optimisation.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Certification in digital process engineering.
3. Experience with industry-specific software for material testing and analysis.
Working Conditions:
This role is based in North East England, with occasional travel to different sites for collaboration and testing. The work environment involves a combination of office work and lab testing.
