About the role
EdenTree Investment Management, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a talented and passionate Marketing and Investment Writer to join our London office.
As Marketing and Investment Writer you'll be:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in crafting compelling content that communicates our investment strategies, market insights, and commitment to sustainability. This role requires a good understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and responsible investment. You'll play the lead role in producing marketing communications and promotional work, including website and social media copywriting, and therefore requires exceptional writing skills. Reporting into our Head of Marketing.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and produce high-quality written content for various marketing materials, including reports, whitepapers, articles, newsletters, and social media posts.
* Create engaging website content that effectively communicates our brand message and investment philosophy.
* Write compelling copy for social media platforms to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience.
* Collaborate with investment professionals to translate complex investment concepts and strategies into clear, engaging, and informative content.
* Conduct research on market trends, investment opportunities, and responsible investment topics to support content creation.
* Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice, messaging, and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience.
* Collaborate with various departments, including fund management, responsible investment, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive and effective communication across all channels.
* Monitor and analyse the performance of content to continuously improve its effectiveness and reach.
* Manage the production of Investment Commentary on a quarterly basis and deliver to our clients and investors.
* Assist in the production of the Fund interim and annual report and accounts with a particular focus on the investment commentary.
* Be available to review and approve various reports and literature including RFPs.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Proven experience in investment writing, financial journalism, or a similar role within the asset management industry.
* Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and ESG principles.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
* Proficiency in using content management systems and digital marketing tools.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Experience in website content creation and social media copywriting.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
