Job Title: Mini Bus Driver
Pay: £14.40 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 07:00-11:00 / 15:45-19:15
Location: Windsor / Slough
Main Duties include:
* Safe driving:
Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a safe driving speed, and practicing defensive driving techniques.
* Passenger management:
Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring they are seated securely, and addressing any concerns or questions.
* Vehicle checks:
Conducting thorough pre-trip inspections of the minibus, checking fluid levels, lights, tires, and overall functionality to ensure roadworthiness.
* Route planning:
Following designated routes and schedules to reach pick-up and drop-off points on time.
* Customer service:
Providing courteous and professional service to passengers, including communication and addressing any issues.
* Record keeping:
Maintaining accurate logs of trips, passenger details, and any incidents.
* Vehicle maintenance:
Reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel and ensuring minor maintenance tasks are completed.
* Compliance with regulations:
Staying updated on relevant driving laws, passenger safety guidelines, and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum age of 21 years and hold the appropriate full & valid clean UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a Minibus of 16 seats under a hire & reward contract, as defined within the O Licence Regulations.
* D1 - full entitlement, with NO restrictions (i.e., restriction code 101).
* D - full bus/coach entitlement.
* Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) with PCV entitlements.
