We at Schroders are in search of a seasoned professional to join us as an Investment Platform Support Lead Analyst, a key role in our Investment Services Platform Team (ISPT). This position, based at our prestigious campus in Horsham, entails comprehensive support and service management responsibility for our primary investment platform, Aladdin, provided by BlackRock Solutions (BRS).
The Role:
In this capacity, you will provide support on escalated Aladdin-related enquiries and service requests from Investment and Operations business stakeholders, ensuring effective resolution with our BRS partners. A calm disposition, adept priority management, and a knack for working in a high-pressure environment will serve you well in this role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Daily service provision and management for Aladdin in cooperation with BRS.
* Capably handling 2nd line Aladdin-related enquiries and issues.
* Work as a key coordination point for escalating Aladdin service incidents impacting vital business processes.
* Oversee assertive communication within the business and with senior executives.
* Implement root cause analysis and mitigating actions for incidents/issues.
* Achieving improved platform control and functional capabilities.
* Life cycle management of underlying problem themes.
* Prepare insightful Management Information (MI) to manage BRS services within agreed SLAs.
What You Bring:
You should possess strong technical knowledge of investment services platforms and have good awareness of the fund management business and end-to-end order/trade workflows. Prior experience in a front-office role at an asset management firm is required. Familiarity with a broad range of investment products and instruments will be beneficial. Strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver under demanding deadlines are essential.
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in handling helpdesk/service management roles, knowledge of the BlackRock Aladdin Solution, and business knowledge of other Asset Management front-office systems will be an added advantage.
