Are you looking to work in a large dynamic teaching hospital based in an exciting city with good transport links to the surrounding areas?
We are looking for an individual with the clinical skills and ability to work within the MSK Outpatient department. You will be working within the adult MSK team.
The team requires specialist clinical skills and previous experience in MSK. You will undertake a varied caseload of musculoskeletal outpatients, which includes supporting the Employee Health and Wellbeing MSK service and Vestibular rehab.
We work as a dynamic MDT with excellent links to other departments across MFT, orthopaedic surgeons, and ACPs in A&E Virtual fracture and orthopaedic clinics.
You will be involved in joint working in audit, research, and other aspects of clinical governance.
There are several opportunities for continuing professional development via appraisal, personal objectives, and supervision.
The MSK team consists of highly specialist Physiotherapists and supports a wide skill mix of clinicians within the outpatient setting. We promote close MDT working, allowing a holistic approach to patient care, joint therapy working, and service developments.
The successful candidate should have experience demonstrating effective assessment, treatment, and management of MSK injuries and conditions. They should demonstrate practical skills in progressing patients to achieve their individual goals with complex needs and multiple pathologies.

We set standards that other Trusts seek to emulate, so you’ll benefit from a scale of opportunity that is nothing short of extraordinary.
We’ve also created a digitally enabled organisation to improve clinical quality, patient and staff experience, operational effectiveness, and driving research and innovation through the introduction of Hive; our Electronic Patient Record system which launched in September 2022.
We’re proud to be a major academic Research Centre and Education provider, providing you with a robust infrastructure to encourage and facilitate high-quality research programmes.
