Job summary We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate midwives to join our community midwifery teams and midwifery continuity of carer MCoC teams. You will be joining a team of friendly and supportive midwives who are passionate about the community care we provide. Our traditional community teams are based across our four Midwifery Hubs, covering Northampton and surrounding villages. We also have a specialist safeguarding community team caring for vulnerable families in the antenatal and postnatal period. We provide evidence-based care in the antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum period, supporting women's choice of birthplace, including homebirths. We work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team and support our colleagues in the hospital setting. You will be responsible for a caseload of birthing people, running clinics within a hub setting and providing care within the home. You will have sound clinical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills. You will be supporting students on their learning journey.
