Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assist in implementing individual learning plans Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons Help students with personal care, if necessary Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths Experience working with children or young adults Understanding of special educational needs Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Experience working with children or young adults Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs Effective communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Patience and empathy Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: This role will involve working in a classroom environment, providing support to students with varying needs. The role may require some physical activity and assisting students with personal care. The working hours are full-time, and the candidate must be flexible to work within the school hours.
