Description We are looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic Stock & Inventory Clerk at our Dartford Site who will have prior experience in a warehouse environment, the ability to record detailed information on Stock and any discrepancies & accurately maintain records. You will minimise process discrepancies by educating colleagues to correct process and support the Stock & Systems Manager to achieving budget by controlling inventory. Shift: 0600-1400 (Any 5 out of 7 days) Salary: £27,810.00 Duties and responsibilities: · Reporting to the Stock & Systems Manager. · Assist with onsite projects, daily system back up & system upgrades. · System task monitoring, task recovery and prioritisation. · Maintain on site Warehouse Management System. · To monitor and investigate discrepancies between physical and system stock levels. · To control stock damages within the warehouse. · To monitor damage frequency and where necessary introduce corrective action. · To control the handling of new and de-listed products. · Control the transfer of stock between warehouse depots. · To update the systems with the relevant data as a result of day-to-day stock investigations. · Comply with quality, Health and Safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment for self and others. Experience, skills and attributes: · A good command of the English language to include, comprehension, verbal and written ability and excellent interpersonal skills. · Ability to work at height including step ladders & scissor lift. · Forward thinking, enthusiastic team player focused and driven by success. · Flexibility and a high level of self-motivation are a must in what is an extremely time critical operation. · Advanced level in IT and analytical skills, including Microsoft Office. · Ability to interpret data. · Good awareness of health and safety. · The above position will be shift and weekend work as the depot operates 24/7 therefore, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work.
