An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Specialty Manager within the Division of Medicine for Respiratory, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, based at Weston General Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to service improvement and performance, working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high volumes of patient correspondence and answer telephone enquiries from patients.
2. Manage governance administration for clinical and non-clinical Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring they are fit for purpose and available for all staff.
3. Validate waiting lists, with experience of RTT pathways and booking appointments desired.
4. Support secretarial and associated administration support teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience of delivering excellent patient-centred care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
2. Outstanding time management skills for managing workloads effectively.
3. Strong communication skills for developing effective working relationships with clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
4. Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, MS Word, and Excel.
