Role:
Due to the continued expansion of the Group and growth within our Lisburn facility, we are now looking for a Site Operations Manager to harmonise site Logistics activities, Logistics Operations, Site Facilities, Site Services and offer group support for other Group companies housed in the facility. The role will be based out of our offices in Lisburn, Co. Antrim but travel will be required to our company premises throughout the UK and to other Group premises in the Republic of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain excellent employee relations, understand the needs and concerns of all employees, resolve issues with the assistance of the HR department.
* Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
* Ensure all employees, visitors and contractors on site are trained on and comply with all our health and safety policies outlined in our Health & Safety Policy.
* Ensure all mandatory health & safety training is kept up to date, on file and in line with legal requirements.
* Promote a training and development culture which will enable site employees to advance their careers when opportunities arise within the Group
* Seek to continuously improve operational management systems, processes, and adapt best practices.
* Delegate responsibilities while maintaining organisational control & accountability for all operations on site.
* Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements for site, plant and equipment are in place.
* Ensure all site operations are carried out in a safe, cost-effective & timely manner
* Prepare, distribute, present metric and project status reports to management.
* Complete continuous improvement initiatives throughout the logistics function, working closely with the Group IT Solutions Lead to identify areas where new technologies can bring about greater efficiencies to site operations.
* Identify & implement control measures to ensure the logistics budget is aligned to Group expectations.
* Ensure all equipment / facilities/ emergency systems on site are maintained and serviced in line with legal & statutory guidelines.
* Take all necessary measures to ensure that our team working on site, the building and its contents are secure at all times. Ensuring fire safety / burglar alarm systems and equipment are serviced regularly and maintained in good working order. Liaising with our contracted security company to ensure the premises is monitored outside of business hours.
* Actively drive positive change throughout the site.
* Deliver all site projects on time ensuring we have the support of the team.

* Have strong IT skills with using ERP systems.

* A high degree of emotional intelligence
* Self-motivated to drive performance within the warehouse and transport teams.
* Able to identify and implement opportunities to optimize stock, warehousing, and logistics management, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
* Degree or similar in Logistics or Supply Chain, and or work experience.
* 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Full clean driving license and be willing to travel to other Group company premises
* Experience with project tools and computer applications including Visio for process mapping.
* Proficiency with ERP systems & WMS systems.
* An outstanding leader who leads by example, sharing knowledge and empowering staff.
* Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for progression from within.
* A good eye for attention to detail, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
* Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages- Outlook, Excel, Word, Power-point
