Admin Officer (AO) - Band E - Darlington Magistrates Court
Brook Street are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer to work at Darlington Magistrates Court.
You will be based in Darlington and will be responsible for a range of admin duties, including:
1. Registering appeals for children from ages 1-25.
2. Issuing orders from Tribunal Judges and issuing Tribunal letters to parties and judiciary.
3. Answering telephone calls.
4. AD HOC Admin Duties.
5. Creating and updating records on in-house computer system - data inputting.
6. Working flexibly and undertaking any other general office admin duties reasonably requested by line management.
Skills Required:
1. Fast and accurate data inputting skills, general IT skills, and good knowledge of Word and Excel.
2. Ability to identify, prioritise, plan effectively, and be target-driven while being a good team player.
3. Clear communication, professional behavior, and delivering excellent customer service.
4. 5 GCSEs including maths and English or equivalent.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: £11.59 per hour.
This is initially a 4-month assignment; however, it is highly likely to be extended beyond that initial period. The job is based on a 37-hour week, working Monday to Friday. Location is ideal for public transport.
