An established manufacturing company has a vacancy for a permanent experienced electroplater to join their Birmingham site. You need to have done electroplating however, they would consider people who have done anodising. New electroplating facility with modern equipment and processes. Excellent career development and prospects. As an electroplating operative you will carry out the following duties: Day to day running of electroplating production lines (mainly gold and nickel). Monitoring and adjusting process equipment for best performance. Maintaining cleanliness of the plating lines and production area. Changing the settings to specific job orders. Quality checking on first offs. Taking parts off jigs and visually inspecting them. Regular checking of the chemicals and temperature controls. Hours: 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12pm Friday. Starting salary: £425 to £500 p/w This is a permanent position that starts immediately
