We are hiring a talented business development coordinator to support the commercial team with a specific focus on our content, impact marketing and distribution services. The ideal business development coordinator has 2+ years’ experience with media sales, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and experience in business development at a content studio or an agency focused on content production.
We’re looking for a quick learner who has a growing network of marketing and advertising professionals— someone with a successful track record of building relationships and who can inspire the same performance in others.
Reporting to our Impact Advertising lead, our ideal candidate is empathetic, is motivated by continuously thinking of creative ideas across sales for existing (Heineken, Rolex, Nikon, LUSH, and many others) and potential brand partners - and is excited by working with a bunch of passionate people who are trying to make a difference and drive collective agency through media.

What you will be doing:
* Primary responsibility for driving outreach and lead generation (clients are brands, NGOs, and agencies seeking content production and creative media services)
* Identify the best points of contact for outreach (setting up new business meetings) and create outreach sequences to get in touch
* Build relationships with, and a strong pipeline of media agencies, purpose-driven brands and NGOs to drive significant revenue growth for Impact Ad Solutions across the WaterBear ecosystem
* Support the commercial team in deploying a range of sales tactics to hit annual revenue targets - lead generation, HubSpot sequencing, pitching, events, newsletters, in person meets
* Support the commercial and partnerships teams through relationship management, deck creation, and client pitches
* Responsible for keeping internal CRM (Hubspot) and project management tools (ClickUp) up to date for relevant internal stakeholders
* Support commercial team with departmental initiatives, reviewing and optimising processes to increase conversions and workflow efficiency
* Regular communications with potential partners through events and mailers
* Stay on top of industry news and attend relevant events to network and build relationships with the right partners
About you:
* 2+ years of experience in expanding in digital media sales at a content studio, media publisher or advertising agency
* Media industry knowledge preferred
* You come with a growing list of media agency contacts at UK & US-based and global media buying agencies
* Experience owning a pipeline and driving lead generation
* Proven record of success with lead generation and networking
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
* A passion for WaterBear’s mission along with a love for film & storytelling
* Understands online sales tracking and forecasting tool (Hubspot)
* Empathetic team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Great internal and external stakeholder management
* Performance marketing experience or brand advertising experience
* Fluent in English.
