An exciting opportunity has arisen for an extremely motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our highly skilled, dedicated IT team where you will support the day-to-day operations of IT and we are looking for someone who is a team player, who takes pride in their work and is an effective communicator. Reporting directly to the IT Service Manager, you will provide 1st line to support across the organisation, supporting and assisting with IT related queries and issues, logging all calls and their outcomes to help monitor and measure the common themes to build a knowledge base to contribute towards the performance of the IT department. Working alongside another IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for the commissioning of new IT equipment, ensuring that all new equipment is tested, operational and maintained according to operational requirements. You will also work with the IT Service Manager to decommission and dispose of all redundant IT equipment, ensuring that all data is securely destroyed to HMG Infosec Standard 5 or above in line with our policies.
