Registered Nurse Associate - Band 4
We are looking for exceptional Band 4 Registered Nurse Associates to join the friendly Day Case team at the Horton Hospital in Banbury.
The role includes working alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing high quality, patient-centred care to a wide range of patients that come in for surgical procedures and infusions for IBD conditions. The successful candidate must be motivated, organised, and possess outstanding communication skills. Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, work well under pressure, and have a flexible approach to work.
We are a nurse-led unit and work closely with the theatre teams and other Specialist Nurses. There are opportunities for extra training and progression. If you are forward-thinking and looking for a new challenge, then this could be the job for you.
You will need to be in possession of your NMC qualification or about to qualify.
Informal visits are encouraged.
The unit is rapidly expanding, caring for patients undergoing a variety of Day Case surgical procedures for a variety of specialities. These patients need to be admitted on the morning of surgery and then recovered and discharged post-operatively. We also have ambulatory patients requiring infusions for Irritable Bowel Disorders, blood transfusions, and other interventions suitable for daily admissions.
We are currently open between the hours of 07:30 and 20:30, Monday to Friday.
